Jakarta – Indonesian Professional Footballers Association (APPI) in response to the decision ISL clubs who break the contract players and only provides 25 percent of the contract value. According to the APPI, the decision was very absurd.

In the General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) Extraordinary on Wednesday (13/5), the ISL clubs agreed that players and coaches will only be 25 percent of the contacts. They argue because the competition has been terminated by the PSSI by reason of force mejeure.

“We agreed that the last competition with a two-month preparation period. But because of the competition stopped, then broke the contract, so any given 25 percent of the contract,” said General Manager PBFC, when the Aidil Fitri.

APPI CEO, Valentino Simanjuntak, said the decisions taken by these clubs is fetched. Therefore, the club should carry out the contract existing player before the competition was stopped.

He considered that the player is entitled to receive what has been promised the club ranging from contract signature until May 2.

“Silly. It should already exist, and occurs before the force majeure. Oh well, can not change. Risk respectively, if such a player is injured,” said Valentino through his message, Friday (15/5).

According to Valentino, the player should be able to get more than 25 percent with a five-month contract to work with the club, considering the players already made preparations with the club since last December 2014.
